The provision of health and care is a continuously changing landscape, a clear example of this is in the recent changes in the Verification of Death process, resulting in the ability for non-healthcare professionals to verifying expected deaths.
Whilst this has actually always been in the scope of the Law, custom and practice has relied on calling the GP or the ambulance service.
In light of these changes, we have developed a course that meets the Coroner’s guidelines and provides the theory, legal and regulatory aspects of verifying death alongside the practical aspects of undertaking this process.
This course is ideal for care providers, community teams and a whole host of other professionals working in environments where verification of death may be required.
This course can be delivered at our training centre or at your location (subject to a minimum number of delegates).
