Our Courses

Our Training and Development team provide the highest quality training courses that will enable you to answer these questions yourself. Using fully qualified, experienced paramedic instructors, the Cornwall Ambulance Service ‘TAD’ team are able to deliver a wide range of formal courses, as well as bespoke options for smaller organisations or individuals.

Anaphylaxis

Training to administer emergency treatment for anyone suffering an anaphylactic reaction

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)

Taught by tutors who have resuscitated patients on land, at sea and in the air

Handling and Movement

Legal and regulatory aspects, risk assessment and practical aspects of safe patient handling.

Intermediate Life Support (ILS)

Taught by skilled tutors who have experience in delivering Intermediate and Advanced Life Support to patients

Medical Gases – Entonox

Training in the use of Entonox for pain management until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services.

Medical Gases – Oxygen

The course is for candidates who may need to deliver oxygen therapy as part of their first aid.

Verification of Death

A course that meets the Coroner’s guidelines and provides the theory, legal and regulatory aspects of verifying death alongside the practical aspects of undertaking this process.
